Kith Café (Park Mall)

Kith Café's been around a long time, well established for dishing up great food and coffee. When I first heard about them several years back, they were still operating from their first retail store at Robertson Quay. Which can be quite a hassle to get to unless you live around the area.

Imagine my joy when I found out they opened a new outlet right in town, at Park Mall. The new outlet boasted a huge air-conditioned seating area, as well as a nice al fresco dining section. Another great dining option in town is always welcomed.

Their daily special of braised beef and pasta

Having visited them a few times since, I've tried most dishes and found Kith to deliver excellent food and drinks. Their daily specials are very reliable, most of the time making for a great simple lunch. I especially like their smoothies. My favourite's the Strawberry ($8++) with chia seeds ($2++). So yummy and filling just on its own.

Of everything served at Kith, I love their pizzas the most. Crisp, thin, yummy dough, generously toppings, baked to perfection. I've tried the Bacon and Egg ($24++) and Seafood ($24++), both of which are excellent. Other options like the Duck Ragout ($24++) and Kung Pao Chicken ($20++) sound equally interesting, and are probably pretty damn delicious too.

It's great that Kith has opened this new branch. While I don’t get the river views the orignal branch offered, I love both the deck and the indoor space at Park Mall, and most importantly, it's much more accessible. Who doesn't like another great eaterie in good ol' town?
